Where to start

So how do we actually make this change?

Four ways in. Pick one, mix them, or start with a conversation and we'll work out the choreography together.

01

Retained support

The Studio and The Main Stage. From a few hours a year with the full policy library, to protected time in the diary every month. Charity pricing throughout.

02

Ad hoc support

A specific issue, a one-off project or a second opinion. Pay by the hour, half day or day, with no onward commitment.

03

Colleague Handbook and Policy Templates

Four packages, from The Waltz to The Freestyle. Every policy and template is in plain English, screen reader friendly, legally sound and written through a trauma-informed lens.

Colleague Handbook and Policy Templates

Looking for a handbook and policies that don't send people to sleep?

You're in the right place.

We've created a suite of accessible, inclusive and legally sound handbook and policy templates that put your values into action. Plain English, designed with neurodivergent colleagues in mind, screen reader friendly, trauma-informed, legally sound and genuinely inclusive.

Whether you're after a simple DIY version or a fully branded, bespoke experience, there's a package to suit your rhythm (and your budget).

Because every workplace deserves a handbook and policies that people actually want to read.

The HR unprofessional

  • Gets to know your organisation properly
  • Has the difficult conversations for you
  • Ticks the boxes, just not traditionally
  • Builds culture where everyone can flourish

My story

I don't like the term “HR consultant”.

I see myself as the HR unprofessional.

If you want lip service and box ticking then I'm not the HR consultant for you. I mean, I can get boxes ticked, but probably not in the traditional way.

I'll roll my sleeves up, get to know your organisation and your people, and get stuck in. I can have difficult conversations with you and your employees, but what I really thrive on is developing a positive culture where everyone can flourish.

Why “choreographer”?

Because dancers get results in weeks. Workplaces take years.

When people are taught to dance, everything is geared to support them and adapt to how they learn. Wouldn't it be great if workplaces did the same?

Learn the room

We get to know your organisation and your people properly, through a trauma-informed lens. Not a template, not an assumption. On our Main Stage packages, we get under the skin of your organisation and your people, because that's where the organisational design work happens. For Studio and ad hoc clients, we'll always research your organisation and what you do before we start.

Set the choreography

We design ways of working that fit your culture, your legal duties and your actual humans.

Rehearse together

Training, handbooks and hands-on support so the change sticks after we've left the room.

Take the floor

A team that moves like a well-choreographed routine: engaged, inclusive and future-focused.

What clients say

Our reviews.

Rachel delivered a training session around disciplinaries and grievances as part of our Leadership and Development programme. I thought it would be a bit dry and boring, but I was really pleased to discover it wasn't. Rachel brought it all to life and made it very relevant.

Marie Shotbolt, Community First

Rachel is a joy to work with. Professional, pragmatic and experienced she is a brilliant guide in disrupted times, and a great counsel for best practice in the day-to-day. Her values lie at the root of this and this commitment shines through to all parties and enables her to deliver excellent results in a calm and organised manner. That she actively seeks work with B Corps speaks volumes and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

James Bidwell, CEO, Springwise

Rachel really can make the people dance!
